Nicholas Reader is an international affairs consultant with over 20 years of leadership experience in crisis response, strategic communications, and global partnerships. He has played a pivotal role in evolving international efforts to improve crisis protection and resilience financing at the United Nations, and managed high complexity global humanitarian responses, including during L3 emergencies in Haiti, Pakistan, the Philippines, and the Sahel. With expertise spanning the public and private sectors, Nicholas specialises in fostering long-term collaborations that mitigate disaster risks and enhance crisis preparedness for governments, multilateral institutions, and businesses.
