Conor Meenan

Head of Labs

Conor is Head of Labs at the Centre for Disaster Protection, where he leads the Centre’s innovation platform focused on co-developing practical, public-good tools to help countries manage and finance disaster risk more effectively.

He is a disaster risk specialist with experience spanning disaster risk finance, risk analytics, and resilience research. Most recently, Conor has worked in an advisory role supporting governments and partners on the design and implementation of sovereign and humanitarian disaster risk financing instruments and strategies, working at the interface of technical analysis and strategic decision-making.

Conor holds a master’s degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge.
